Yuletide Carol WOTG continued

Hi Ladies... 

It's exciting to share the next two layouts for this lovely kit!  Yuletide Carol!

This layout is the second layout from the brochure... (click here for detailed directions) except I switched out the color from champagne to new england ivy and I love it... it looks so rich and elegant.... 

The third layout was inspired by Andrea Sherman!!  You are a genius!! Thank you!!  I love it!!  anyway.. this layout uses the new Artfully Sent cricut cartridge to make the heart swags! So very clever!!  And then it also uses some of the My Crush Christmas assortment... 

Three totally great layouts... one kit!  Awesomeness!!

Yuletide WOTG

Ladies, Tuesday night is the Christmas Yuletide WOTG and I hope you are planning to attend... 

Here's the first layout for this workshop!!  Two colors have been switched, the black and the kraft cardstock... the black just seemed to be too dark... so i tried this and I love it!

December Shoebox Cards

Greetings all!

What a fabulous night we had... Lots of desserts... lots of good music and lots of laughs... oh and some cardmaking and papercrafting too!!

Here's My "Twisted" card!!

This is such a fun card!  It's made out of a 4.25x11 cardstock... scored diagonally and scored in the middle.  Also uses the Make it Merry stamp set, This makes a great card or money holder. It also shows off CTMH's great two sided papers!

And here are the other creations... 

Anita did Happy Elf Feet!  There was a lot of giggling during the creation of this delightful card!! And Thanks Anita for the amazing white chocolate and craisin cookies... (and the chocolate covered cherries)

Anita started the night with a two-fer ... here's the cute little tag with a touch of glitter... Gorgeous!!

Next is Julie's creative card with Intricate trees!  Such a lovely card!! Love the Jewels on the trees!! Oh and she brought an amazing Buttermilk pie!  Yum!!

Kathy brought half her stash of stuff and let us dig in and make collage cards.  All of our creations were different... and here's my version of a collage card... (Congrats on being a home owner!!)

Melani had a two-fer today... we did this lovely ornament out of typing paper... most people had six petals... since snowflakes are six sided... but Shannon did five and I liked it, so I did five!  What fun!!

 So here's the fun and quick card Melani taught us as well... and we each had a different color inside.  The trick is to punch the holes in the white and adhere the colored on the inside.  (Mel's tip, put the glue on the white inside!)

Shannon also did a two-fer... we made these adorable Reindeer candy canes with googly eyes!

Here's her other idea... and what fun is this card... It's titled "Reindeer in the dark"  it was so much fun!!

And the caption was super cute too! this is on the inside of the card...

I shared some fudge and pumpkin bars for an additional treat!

Pathfinding WOTG Two more layouts

So... I have to admit... that this was probably one my least favorite kits... and yet, I really enjoyed working with it!  Again, Special thanks to Susan Williams...  She is an amazingly talented artist and has been a great inspiration!

I love the compliments with this layout and especially the bling and assortment that goes with this kit... Also, bronze shimmer tape is a good addition for this kit!  

Now, this WOTG has come and gone, but remember that if you like this kit and want to create these pages, you can come to any event and create them... just LMK ahead of time!

Pathfinding WOTG

This Tuesday (November 25th) is Pathfinding WOTG!!

November hostess Club layouts

The Second Tuesday is always Hostess Club!  I design a layout and the clubbies can come and create their own layout and based on my design!

So here's my design...

Here's Kathy's layout... She did Gatlin's birthday and she used Baby Cakes.  and look... she even has pictures on it!!

This is Michelle's first time coming... thank you Theresa for bringing her!  I think she had a lovely time and a beautiful layout!

Here's Theresa's layout!  The blue is perfect for this layout and the yellow is a great accent too...

The left page also has three flip flaps, an 8x12, a 6x12 and a 4x4... so room for lots of photos!  We missed lots of girls tonight!  Hope to see ya'll next month.

You've been asking for D ring binders!!  It's exciting to announce that they are now available!!

We now have two albums that are available for purchase.. 
Lagoon Chevron pattern and a Black D Ring Album both of these are just $34.95.  I love these D ring albums!  Its' so much easier to rearrange the pages and they are perfect for the pocket pages!

November Hostess Club layout

Woot Woot!  This layout is so exciting!  Can't wait to share it with you tonight!

It uses lots of flip flaps and is just so much fun!!

This layout was inspired by Tabitha Dueso... and thanks for the measurements Tabby!!

It uses five 4x6 flip flaps for the cake.

Also,  a 4x4 out of the small assortment and an 8x12 and a 6x12 from the 12 inch assortment.

Use the Artiste Cartridge to cut the frosting and the plate.

Cake layers are (4) 1.5x4.5
Frosting is 1.5 inch -accent 4 -shift u -page 47 (corner round top layer)
      cut 3 at 1 repeat last (and stagger on cake)
Plate is 2 inch -accent 2 -shift 3#  -page 33 -cut in half length ways.

12x8 flip flap is on the very left side and mimic the layout below it on both sides.  The 4x4 photo on the right side of the left layout is also a flip flap designed to keep the layout closed and the 6x12 flip flap opens after the 8x12 is opened and is adhered at the 2.5 inch mark from the right side.

Here it is open!  Can't wait to see what everyone creates tonight!!

October Hostess Club

Well what a fun night for a dreary day!!  We had some groovy tunes on and a fun layout tonight.

Special thanks to Consultant Michelle Snyder for the inspiration!!  I love a fall themed project.... found myself without any current leaf stamps so brought out some oldies but goodies for this lovely project.

We used Rock and Roll with the leaves and added texture to the dove tails on the side using one of my favorite stamps Distressed Backgrounds

I love Shimmer Trim too!!

Here's Leisa's lovely page!!Love her two toned leaves!! she used three colors on her rock and roll leaves!!

Here's Pat's pretty page!  I love the rounded edges and love her Happy Autumn tag with the banners!!  And thanks for sharing the secret for the dove tail and the Versa Mat!  There is an "X" on the versa mat and put the paper to have the dovetail on the x, and use a ruler on the diagonal to trace the lines and you have a perfect dovetail every time!

Tami's terrific layout uses Chalk it up and I love the stamp that Great Job and it's perfect on this layout!  Love that she changed up the theme and I love the teal shimmer trim as well!

 Theresa's fabulous layout is charming and fun with the beautiful blue background color!  really ties in the background paper!  Love the ombre effect of the letters.
