Central Park layouts

Hey Everyone!!  What a summer eh... Can't believe it's the end of August.

Check out the Central park kit!  It was a lot of fun!!  Really!  I loved the bright colors!!

The first layout is the hostess club layout!  It's a bright expression of color was inspired by the Make it from your Heart volume 3 pattern 7!  We also used the CTMH You are here cricut collection for the title.

This fun layout was inspired by Doreen Watkins!  I loved the bicycle PML card and just thought it was a wonderful layout! We lined the summer punch out with red to make it pop.  Also the PML card is a flip flap.

The next layout is such a great summer layout!  "Let's Play"  is a wonderful way to capture many summer moments.  Play is one of the compliments and Let's uses the sticker letters that come with the kit.  This delightful layout is inspired by Melissa Laverty!

Yes, this layout uses the same kit!  There is some pink in the multi colored paper if you look closely.  We used the swirly seashells stamps and dies to create this "Shell We... " pretty in pink layout.  This layout was inspired by Wendy Ball! I loved that it was so different than anything else.. and I love sea shells!!

Yellow and blue... Love this layout... inspired by Chris Robertson!  This was so much fun to put together.  The sun and it's rays really set a nice background to build on.  And the two tone blues are very complimentary.  We added a couple of flip flap pml cards and it's a great layout!

And the last layout really reminds us that Summer is Bliss! It's been a joy to create these bright and cheery layouts!  This wonderful layout was inspired by Krista Hershberger!  Hope you have had a bright and cheery summer too!!

We enjoy our Hostess club nights and would love to have you join us!  Just pre-order your kit and come create with us!  The next Hostess Club is Tuesday, September 11.  We will be doing documented!

August Shoebox cards

What a wonderful Summer it has been!!  Here are our creations for August.

I love this pear stamp set and have wanted to use it for a long time.  It uses some old B&T paper and and washi tape and tiny layers. This is an elegant card.... It was loosely based on a design from pinterest.  (Teneale Williams)

Anita's card is a diagonal cut of an 8.5x11 and then gently folding the points in and down.  The medallion is only glued on half of the card.  We also made an insert/greeting for the inside.  This is a beautiful card.

Here is the insert as well as the card being opened.

Julie's sympathy card features the word prayers cut on a cricut using flashing tape, so it had adhesive on it.  It was very delicate.  We also added black puff paint to the inside of the flower.  The backgrounds also have been pressure embossed.  This is an elegant card.

Roxxy's card is an under the sea card.  The background is pressured embossed and we had lots of fun embellishments to add... we used  colored pencils to color in the fish and added gems for bubbles.  What fun!  It's a great summer time card!!

Melani's fun card was a cascade of punched flowers.  It's a great way to use up scraps.  We also added some stickles in the center of the flowers to bling it up.  It was fun to punch the flowers out of scraps and then just play.  It's a great way to use up scraps!! Fun fun card!!

We always enjoy getting together and sharing our ideas.  We get together on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM.  The next Shoebox Card night will be Tuesday, September 4.
