Layout #2 was inspired by Lynn Como and I loved using the Kraft cardstock to create this "Family Tree" layout!!

Layout #3 was inspired by Chris Robertson!  It's just a fabulous layout!!  Everything is sponged with Champagne ink and the Poppy thick twine was stapled with the mini stapler!!  This made it so much easier to add the twine to the photo matts!

Layout #4 is another inspired layout from Lynn Como!  This is a quick layout and adding a touch of gold shimmer trim adds a punch of brightness!!

This class will be on Tuesday November 10th!  Right after VCBC!!

And here is the Hostess Club Layout we will be doing!!  It was inspired by Jacquelin Green!  I loved softening the edges with a corner rounder!!

Be sure to check back after the 10th to see the guest's creative take on this layout!!

September Hostess Club and Zoe WOTG

Tuesday was Hostess Club and here's the layout we created!  Special thanks to Jo Armstrong for her creation!!  I love how this turned out!!

I love love love the blue green side of Zoe!!  And we used the new CTMH Cricut Cartridge Artistry on this layout!!  The hexagons and word bubbles were a lot of fun to add to this layout!  We also used the new aqua shimmer trim!  I love love love Shimmer trim!!!

And here are the creations of my customers.
(ps Pam snuck out early before a picture could be taken)

Dulce loves these warmer fall colors!  Course she has boys too, so it's a great color combination for almost any photograph!!

Kathy and Shayley are working on their trip to Maine.

And here's Theresa's layout featuring a first day of school!

Here are the three other layouts using Zoe for the WOTG kit!

This layout is scraplifted from Tina Lovell's lovely layout!!

This layout was inspired by Tina Lovell as well!! (it's changed up a bit but I love it!!)

And this is my own creation!!  I love the simplicity of this layout!  still lots of room for photos and we used the washi tape from the last seasonal expressions issues!!  thought the colors were spot on.  And we also used the September campaign stamp sets.

Seaside WOTG complete

Hi Everyone,

Just finished up the Seaside WOTG and had a hard time putting it away... It was such great paper to work with!!

So... here's the hostess Club Layout that we did start the night off... It includes a 6x6 flip flap!!

And here's the layouts that we did for WOTG.

This is my version of the first layout in the WOTG.  This uses the Artbooking Cricut cartridge for the background, the photo strip, the wave frame and the additional waves.

This fabulous layout was inspired by the amazing Julie Carriere!  The suns were cut out on cricut too. The large scallop is from the Magic how to book with the CD.

Here's a quick one... it's inspired by Tina Lovell and loved her layout, but was out of the sorbet paper from the packet, so I used sorbet cardstock and stamped the net image on it!  Worked out pretty good too!

This super cute layout was inspired by Kim Ferguson.  It's quick and simple and fun!! The wood embossing folder was used to make the fence and sponged with Desert Sand ink. Stamped the beach gear using A1165 Beach Gear stamp set and cut them out.

This layout uses PML Cards and was inspired by Lori Allen... I simply picked out six PML cards (one 4x6 Horizontal, two 3x4 vertical, one 4x6 vertical and two 3x4 horizontals) stamped the arrows in those colors, added a strip of glitter paper and washi tape.  super cute and fun!!

This is my version of the other layout in the WOTG guide and changed the colors up to use just the glacier and desert sand color combination.  I love it!!  also added some of the sequins I had laying around for fun!!

Lots of great layouts to inspire ya'll!!  Hope you enjoyed it!!

July Hostess Club

This month we used Wanderful as our Kit!  Here's the layout for hostess club!  Please note that we used stamps to create our embellishment!  What fun!  It always amazes me how different colors and papers can make a layout look.

Using the blues and purples in the wanderful kit to create this lovely layout!

Dulce used Hopscotch to create her layout!  Love the title!! (and it's super straight too) nice job Dulce! And the zip strip works well with this layout!

Theresa is used these fun polka dots to create a fun layout for her son who's going on a road trip soon! Perfect colors!!  (note the way she changed it up a bit!!)

Next month hostess club will be on Tuesday August 18th and will be an open house.  (the third Tuesday instead of the second Tuesday!!)

Will post more wanderful layouts this weekend!!

Enjoy the summer!  it's going quickly!!

June Hostess Club

Hi Everyone!!  Here's our layout for hostess club this month!  Thanks to Susan Williamson for her inspirational layout!!

This lovely layout features the Jackson WOTG stamp set. I love the So Happy Here stamp!!  One tip when using larger more solidish stamps... rub the stamp on the base of your hand (before inking) for better ink coverage.  It works for all stamps!!  try it!!

One thing I really liked about this layout, is that it doesn't use a lot of cardstock/paper.  And there is room for two vertical  4x6's and two horizontal 4x6's.

Dulce added texture to her layout by using the embossing folders.  Love the summery feel of this layout!!

Kathy opted to use a different paper from the Jackson kit and added some stickers as well.  Love the tree paper!!

Pam loves doing beachy layouts and so here's version using Wanderful!  It is delightful and fun!!

Theresa's layout goes perfectly with her pics!  She used ribbon to add texture to her layout!  Perfect pics for her lovely layout!!

Great job ladies!

The next meeting is Tuesday July 14th  and we'll be doing Wanderful for the WOTG.

Also, there will be a crop Saturday July 18th from 9am to 9pm.  $10 includes a meal.  Please RSVP.  (Crop WOTG will be Blossom)

April Hostess Club/ WOTG

What a great night!!  We welcomed two Newbies!  Chris and Pam!  So glad to have you ladies join us tonight!

They had their choice of two layouts... Will post the second layout tomorrow... I forgot to take a photo of it...

Here's my layout... inspired by Laura Ryan! It's a fun and fabulous Layout!!

And Here are their creations!!

This was Chris's first time with us!  and isn't her first layout just lovely!!  (Chris worked on four layouts tonight... and just has to assemble or add embellishment to them later)

Dulce loves this older paper pack... and love what she did with the swirls!!

Kathy followed Dulce's lead and created this adorable birthday layout!!

This was Pam's first time as well and Looky looky!  She did great (in fact she did two layouts because she enjoyed doing the first one so much)

Theresa created a lovely Easter Layout!  The eggs are cut from the Art Philosphy cartridge!! Eggcellant!!  LOL!!

And Theresa also had enough fun that she wanted to do another layout as well! perfect papers for these pics wouldn't you say?

And thanks to Pizza Hut for making the pizzas!!

A perfect night of creativity!!

April Hostess Club and Workshop on the Go

Tuesday is Hostess club and WOTG.

April's Feature is Brushed!

I have really enjoyed working with this kit!  It's so bright and springy!!

This first layout will be the hostess club layout. It was inspired by Laura Ryan!!  Love this Springy layout!!

This layout is featured in the brochure and I loved the background sponging!  Lots of great techniques on this lovely layout!  The only thing different from the brochure is that extra strip of pear at the bottom of the page... It just felt a little more finished with it.

The is the basically the same layout as in the book, but most of my clients who do WOTG have boys... so I changed the color scheme a bit and and used Pink Washi tape since the green washi tape is more of a bright green than a blue green.  Also, it's nice to show how easy it is to change things up a bit and still use the same design plan.

I hope to do at least one more layout tomorrow!  There was lots of cutting out on these layouts ... just be forewarned!  And it was so totally worth it!

January Hostess Club Layouts

So it's a new year!  And here is our first layout for this year!!

This layout was inspired by Pamela O'Connor who did a birthday layout and the Artbooking Cartridge! Her layout was a birthday layout and I loved the Chevrons, but didn't want to do a birthday layout.... so I saw this paper and it reminded me of my dad... random, bubbly light energy, so I thought ok... I can do a tribute page to him...

And of course at Hostess Club, Attendees are invited to use the layout as an inspirational piece and choose colors, words and designs that work for them.

Here are their Creations....

Dulce has two wonderful boys and wanted to do more boyish colors and she used Hopscotch and Chalk It Up and added lagoon for a delightful mix of colors and papers!  She also used the January SOTM in the background using second generation stamping.

Theresa thought the hopscotch paper worked well with her pictures and easily added these fabulous concert photos to her layout.  She opted to add a heart flag rather than the banner for better photo placement !  It looks quite charming!!

Thanks girls for a lovely evening of scrapping!!
