October third Monday Class

Hi Hi... 

Just wanted to share about an upcoming class... Butterfly 3x3 Card Class.  Special Thanks to one of my favorite CTMH Artists... Lisa Stenz... for creating this lovely class!

This class features Six 3x3 cards and coordinating envelopes, a darling muslin bag and the delightful stamp set, D1627 Your Own Kind of Wonderful.  It's a great little gift set and perfect cards for any occasion.

This class features the new fun Z2033 paper fundementals, the whimsy assortment.  

This Amazing paper pack includes 20 sheets (two each of 10 different designs) one side is has a print on it and one side has a glossy pattern.  Love this paper!  And the best part is that a sheet is only $1.00.  It's a great price!

This workshop is scheduled for October 20th at 7:00 pm.  Please RSVP by Monday October 6th.  The class is $25.  Additional card refills maybe purchased for an additional $10 each (includes, muslin bag, six 3x3 cards and envelopes).   

The New and Improved Hostess Club

Hi Everyone!

I am just so excited to share with you about the New and Improved Hostess Club!  

First off, let me share what Hostess Club is... It's a monthly gathering at my house, where all guests will have the opportunity to make a two page layout and place an order. There will be an inspiration layout and guests can create a layout using papers of their choice.  

This is a sample of what a hostess club layout looks like

Hostess Club Tuesday is currently the SECOND TUESDAY each month.  The doors open at 6:30 pm and you are welcome to come anytime after that ... up till about 8:15 or so.

Each guest is encouraged to bring their basic kit, which includes (suggested) ....  tools (scissors, ruler, cutter, piercing tool etc), adhesives (tombow, glue dots, dimensional tape, liquid glass) and blocks if you have them.  

I am so excited about this new forum!! 

Each month, one person will be the hostess and will receive the hostess benefits for that month... And the hostess benefits will reflect their past purchases (pre tax) for the last six months.  (I will keep track of purchases and will check in with each customer before their month.)

For example, Holly Hostess has purchased $50 for the last six months ($300) and so her hostess rewards would reflect order totals of $300 and she would receive $40 in hostess rewards and one half price item.

This is one of the exclusive Hostess sets ($10.00)

Hostess rewards include: Special stamps at special prices (pp 5-10 in the current Annual Inpsirations), Stamps, Inks, Reinkers, Blocks, Complements, My Creations Paper packs, Cardstock, WOTG, Studio J layouts, Pingment Pads and Markers.

Guests are always welcome to visit Hostess Club!!  And Hostesses will always receive additional credit for any guests that also purchase during a club order.

Also, I am introducing CTMH cash as a new incentive for hostess club member.  When a hostess club member's order reaches $35, they will also receive CTMH Cash in which they use it to buy a variety of items that are on hand.  CTMH Cash maybe used  that night or can be saved and use at a later date.  Please know that each person is responsible for their own CTMH Cash and it is non-transferable.  

$35 order  =$5 CTMH cash
$50 order = $10 CTMH cash
$75 order = $15 CTMH cash
$100 order = $20 CTMH cash

Orders can be placed in person or online.  If you would like to place the order online, please make sure that the order is placed by the second Tuesday each month... as the link is only there till that Tuesday.  Why would you want to do that?  Simple, the order will come directly to you... and you can also purchase Studio J and have it count towards your order and also, you can purchase items from "While Supplies Last". Be sure to join the HOSTESS Club party when placing an order online.

Other things to consider:  Each month on the 4th Tuesday is WOTG.  It's a free workshop with the purchase of supplies or kit and I design 3-4 layouts (sometimes even more) using the featured kit that month.  

So... think about this... If you come to hostess club once a month, you will create one layout. That's 12 per year if you come to all of the classes.  That's pretty good! And consider that if you purchase the WOTG supplies, that we will then make 3-4 more layouts each month... so that's 4-5 layouts a month and 48-60 layouts per year.  That's pretty amazing!

Timberline WOTG

Hi everyone!!

Here's the Timberline WOTG... Thanks to some great inspirations these layouts were amazing to put together... The first two were inspired by Susan Williams.. (Love her style!!) and the third one was inspired by Heather Jane!

The fourth Tuesday each month is always WOTG and it's always free with the purchase of the kit.  Come and create 3-4 layouts each month with your friends!  It's fun and easy!  And the layouts are always great! 

Next month is Chalk it up... Sept 23rd!!  Please have this kit ordered by Sept 12th. More details to follow about the Chalk it up kit!!

When you need a sympathy card

Sometimes you need a sympathy card... 

Today was one of those days... 

So I wanted to share this card again.... I did it for Shoebox cards back in February... and it's just a nice card... so here it is... 

Here's the recipe for the card

1.5x4.25 whisper cardstock with D1544 Distressed Backgrounds burlap stamped in slate ink over it.

.25x4.25 twilight cardstock...  lots of colors would work as well for this card.... since the other colors are very neutral... 

.75x4.25 slate cardstock

Then add about 3.25 inch of half inch washi tape... I liked a bit of space in between the cardstock and the washi tape. 

Cut ovals using Art Philosophy (oval 3) the white one is 2 and the twilight one is 2.25. Stamp the tree from stamp set C1559 Always Grateful in the oval.  Also, sponging the edge of both ovals in slate ink adds a softness to the image. This image was also popped up using 3D tape.

Stamp sentiment in the bottom right hand corner in slate.  

Sometimes it's hard to know what to write... so I checked out this site and it was a big help!!

This is an exciting class in September!  It's all about making these great Jewelry items. And they make great gifts too!!!  There will be a little class sharing ideas for the jewelry items that night and then guests are welcome to create their project.

First choose a color: faux antiqued silver or faux antiqued gold

Then choose a shape: Circle or Square ($12)/ Oval or Rectangle(13) This includes the necklace, the pendant, the glass cover, the style sheet, a charm and a rhinestone.

Additional pendants may be purchased for $4 and add a charm and a rhinestone for just $6.

Bracelets are $7.50 each.

Hostess Club:

We are starting a new round of Hostess Club in September with a new and exciting plan!  Hostess Club will still meet on The second Tuesday of each month and each month will have a hostess much like before.  But here's the deal... when it's your turn to be the hostess, you will receive hostess rewards according to your purchases as well as any guests orders that attend on your club night.  So let's say that your orders average $50 for the last six months, then when it's your time to be hostess, the rewards would be based on $300. I am very excited about this program and hope you are too!  please feel free to ask any questions!

And of course there will be WOTG classes again this year as well... All WOTG classes are FREE with the purchase of a kit.  (additional papers may be needed to complete all projects. There will be a blog post with a shopping list for each kit that is featured for that month. It's a great resource!

Here's some final thoughts... 

I am so excited to have the Annual Expressions (the new catalog) come out once a year!  Look for the next one in August 2015!  Also, in December and in April, there will be a new mini catalog called Seasonal Expressions!  So get excited for that!!  

There's a great Constant Campaign in September... When your purchase reaches $30, you qualify to receive the free "C sized stamp set" #30yearsof happy in honor of Jeanette's (CTMH Founder) 30 years of creativity!!  It has 30 images and more to follow on that!
