Organizing my inks

Here's how I order my inks for the new skinnier core version:
 
*I put the inks in the color order I wanted... putting three sets on one side in a color order and the basics on the other side made sense to me.

*Then I typed up the colors in word and printed them out on regular copy paper.  
*Next the words were cut out and adhered to the side of my ink caddy.  
*Finally, clear packing tape put over the paper to keep them secured.

Workshops on the Go

Last year we had 8 WOTGs and they were all scrapbooking with an extra curricular activity on the side.  And we had fun with them!  Great layouts, techniques and use of papers.  Now, we still have eight lovely WOTG with bonus projects as well.  (and there's more, so read on)


There will be a Scrapbooking workshop on the go on the first Tuesday of each month, along with two bonus days for WOTGs so we can get all eight of them... Here's the schedule of events.  These are the ones that I will feature for the respective months, but you can come and do any wotg you want.

One of the best things I love about CTMH is that it's so easy to coordinate papers, markers, inks and embellishments.  There are a lot of new and exciting changes to CTMH's Color Line... 


We now have skinnied down the core color palette and yet, it's expanded all at the same time. We will have 40 core colors (plus white daisy, colonial white and kraft papers) And we have some new colors to welcome to that core... Please welcome:

We have new mini pigment inks available in sets of 10 in each of the four basic groups.... Basics, Enchantment, Adventure, and Whimsy for $19.95.  Just a reminder... these are pigment inks.  They are not reinkable.  


Another new and exciting product are the alcohol based markers.  ** So excited about theses.  There are two markers, a lighter and a darker shade. They work on regular cardstock... with the dye based inks and the marker lines did not show.  

I used these and was surprised at how easy they were to use and how good my flowers came out.  I used the light color and scribbled over the flower, then came back with the darker color and highlighted areas.... then came back with the lighter color and blended them in.  


So, the markers are now sold in a two pack, one core color and one lighter or darker tone.  The two pack is just $5.95 and is a great deal.  80 markers in all.
