Christmas card exchange

One of the fun things we do at the Christmas party is to exchange Christmas cards... Here's our beautiful cards!

This year I used the CTMH Shaker Card kit... it was super fun to make these cards!  and super easy too!  There were two designs.

Beth's darling card features a "Let It Snow" motif!  Love the dangling mittens!!  It's a fun design with a fresh winter color pallet.

Anita's lovely card features a stamped tree and greeting and then is embossed to using an embossing folder to elevate the elegance.

Julie's card uses and intricate design cut using a cricut which makes it an elegant and sophisticated design.

Kathy's sweet card uses colored pencils in this adorable scene with the little guy decorating the tree.

Melani created an initial for each of us.... using clear letter tiles.  What fun!  She used phone book pages on the back ground.

Each year Shannon recycles Christmas cards to make new ones and we get to pick out two cards.  What a fun way to reuse cards.

This lovely card is created by Roxxy... love the Santa with his swirly whirly beard.

This is the project we made... it's a card holder box with a name plate.  This is a simple design made out of 8.5x11.

Put the 8.5 side to the top an score at 1.75 and 6.5. Turn the paper and score at 4 and 5.75.  Next mark 9.75 on both sides and cut diagonally from the mark to the score line on both sides.  Snip the scored lines at 4 and 5.75 to the score lines.  Fold and adhere... sandwhiching the middle piece for easy access with Cards.

Add decorative paper (2) 47.5x3.75 and (2) 3.75 x 1.5... the tag is  Fancy Tags thin cuts and the inset is 3.5x2.5.

Since Anita missed the December group, she brought her project for everyone to make.  It's a refrigerator magnet  that holds a post it note pad. The penguins are so much fun.

Roxxy also made a couple of extra treats.  What fun a fun little gift... it was a stocking with three hershey's  nuggets wrapped with a white piece of paper and decorated with a snowman face.

The hats are made from the thin stretchy gloves and small white pom poms were also added.  What a cute idea!!

Roxxy also had a package of snow man soup for including a hot chocolate packet, marshmallow, chocolate and peppermint candy cane.  How sweet!

It's such a pleasure to be a part of this amazing group of women who share their time, creativity and passion with each other.
