So excited to share this month's cards with you!! They were so much fun!!
This fun card features the new calypso items in the Summer Seasonal Expressions!!
What's more fun than Flamingos in the summer... This card uses Tickled Pink Stamp set and the coordinating thin cuts as well as the Calypso Washi tape and Silver Shimmer trim.
Thanks to Valarie Ward for her inspiration from Pinterest!!
Julie always had a great idea to share with us!! This time she taught us pocket cards... and in each card was a surprise! What fun!! And quick and easy too!!
Surpise!!
Kathy was so excited to share with us her new punch Birds on a wire! Aren't they just cute!! She also gave us options of flower punches and butterfly punches and tried to teach us doodling on a plain white butterfly!
Lori's sweet card featured coordinated layering, bright pink flowers with black dots and fun fun fun washi tape! Side note... wait to adhere the white center till after the washi tape is applied... it's much easier!!
Melani's Monogram card is quick and fun!!! One swirly stamp... with second and third generation stamping!! Love the big letter!! Would work with stickers, cricut cut letters or even stamped and cut out letters!! Great idea Melani!!
Roxxy was an overachiever and brought two cards...
Roxxy's card number one is a die cut flower and we wrapped string around it to look like a spirograph!! Love this!! And a circle message would be fun in here!!
And here's card number two... we sponged the yellow over a circle to leave it white (masking) and then stamped the image.. we also cut the image to make it look like a window. And the layering really makes this card so very nice!!
We also had wonderful treats... Julie brought gummy hearts, and m&m's, Lori brought the most amazing macadamia nut cookies and Melani brought a whole box of treats!!
We were certainly Sweeter after a night of cards!! And missed a few of our regulars were missing and hope they can make it next month...
Next Shoebox Cards will be Tuesday June 7th at 7:00 pm!! See you there!!
