First layout using Lollydoodle

Love this bright springy paper! This layout was modified a bit from the brochure... but still quite similar to the original plans by CTMH AND it was fun creating it!

So the changes in this layout is that I used Pear instead of juniper, twilight instead of cotton candy and the springy green background and texture paper is just flipped over (It's juniper on the other side!)  How cool is that!

What do you think... This could easily be made into an Easter Layout!!

VCBC Recap...

So, I love to arrive at camp on Wednesday evening... That allows me time to unload, get settled, set up and be ready for the rest of the week.  I was fortunate to be close to the back door, so it was way easy to unload!  Thanks to Helen for helping me unload.  It was great to arrive just before supper too! 

I was excited to see that Shannon and Natalie were at my table too!  It was great to chit chat... Nichole and Michelle also joined us.  I had a whole 8 foot table to myself and it was great!  

This retreat was a little different... in that it wasn't just scrappers... The name of the retreat was Create and Recreate Retreat- a get-away for Women and Teen Girls. So there were lots of activities... including trap shooting, trail rides, laser tag, tea party, Doxa Soma, massages, and many other things... 

Dina Hanken was the speaker... and she did a great job... had lots of great messages... 

Thursday, I was lucky enough to get an hour massage!  Thanks Edna!  

Friday it rained and snowed and was yucky... so I was glad to be inside all day. And Friday night, we did the first Shoebox Card Camp Swap and might I say it was quite successful!!

It all goes so fast!!!  I love seeing all of my friends... and meeting new ones...

April's WOTG Class is Lolly Doodle

Hi Everyone!  Hope this spring like weather is going continue!  It's time!

Well, the next WOTG kit really has a nice spring like feel to it!  It's Lollydoodle!  I just love even saying that:)  Lolly Doodle!  It reminds me of the song Polly Wolly Doodle all the day:)

April Hostess Club Layouts!!

So, just getting back from Village Creek (will blog about that tomorrow) and already it's Hostess Club!  Krista is our Lovely Hostess this month!  

So excited to have a fun layout!  It's a bit plain... will embellish it more and share the final project... but it has great bones!!!

Here's my layout... Inspired by Jeanette Lyntton from the Spatastic in 2011.

This layout features Skylark paper and also cut out some tags on the cricut  (Art Philosophy) and stamped them with  C1575 True to life stamp set...
