Gimme Some Sugar Workshop

Hi Everyone,

Still catching up... Here is the Gimme Some Sugar kit.  I think we did this kit in May...

Here's the hostess club layout.  Sweet and simple.  I love it!   We used two PML cards that can easily be made into flipflaps!  This was such pretty paper.

The first layout come directly from CTMH as part of the Workshop your way plan.  The stickers compliment this layout quite nicely.  Another quick layout.

Blue and Green is one of my favorite color combinations.  I love that this layout is so unexpected using this kit.  Thanks Anna Jarnigan for the inspiration for this layout.  We also used the cricut cartridge Flower Market!!  I love the basket on the bike!  What a fun layout!!

This lovely layout was inspired by Jennifer Smith.  It's so cute with all the stickers and is a soft sweet layout, sprinkled with fun!!

And here's another layout inspired by Jennifer Smith.  I love the pink and brown combination on this layout.  This also uses Flower Market cartridge to make the pie.

And the last layout is super fun and called What's Cookin?  I intended to add stamped cooking elements to this page, but it's not quite finished yet... but wanted to get it posted.

This was a super fun kit to work with!  Hope you enjoyed the layouts!  See you at the next Hostess Club!  There are always openings!  Feel free to join us!

June Hostess Club

Hi Everyone!!

The June featured kit is Beautiful You.  Theresa loved the colors of this kit!  Here are the creations using this lovely kit!!

The first layout is the Hostess Club layout and it featured the bulk paper pack.   This layout is inspired by Melinda Everitt. It features the floral pattern on one side and blue with little white polka dots on the other side.  There are also two flip flaps using PML cards.  I love this quick layout!!

Here's the first layout and it comes from the CTMH instruction guide that comes with the kit.  I love the flag papers and this layout!  It's another quick layout.  (Side note: this layout is mounted on white cardstock.  I did trim the bottom of the flag paper)  What fun!!

The next layout is a striking layout inspired by Lynn Como.  I love the combination of the sorbet and sapphire.  Such a great color combination.  Love the hint of flowers as well.  True Story is also a flip flap.

This "Sweet" layout was so much fun to put together. It's inspired by Doreen Watkins and was just fun and is so lovely.  It's just the perfect layout for a sweet friend, a sweet baby, or a tender moment.

Here's another soft and sweet layout inspired by Lynn Como.  It includes some light sponging and smooshing... is that a word?  but that's what I did... I smooshed it.  I love the combination of blue and pink together and the little bit of grey ... yummy!!

And the last layout is probably one of my favorites!  Of course I usually say that after every layout I do.  LOL!!  This layout was inspired by Dana Kessler.  I love doing an unexpected layout and this one fits the bill!!  Love this layout!!

Join us in July for the next Hostess Club workshop.  We will be using the kit Fresh Air!!  Please order your kit by June 30 to join us.  We will meet on Tuesday, July 10.  Doors open at 5:00 PM.

June Shoebox cards

Hi Everyone!!

Hope you are staying cool in this humid weather!  I have had some computer issues and am planning to get caught up this week with posting!!

Here are the great cards we made in June!!

It's my granddaughter's first birthday this month!  Here's the card I made for her.  It uses sweet birthday occasions.  It's super cute!  Thanks to Vicki Wizniuk for the inspiration!!

Anita's card is such a lovely card.  The paper is so pretty!!  The greeting is on a flap.  (the secret to the flap is scoring a 1/8 inches apart)  And she had the flowers pre-done for us.  Such a lovely card!!

Julie's super fun get well card!!  the card base is 4.25x8.  Putting the 8 inch side at the top, score at 1.25, 2.5, 5.5 and 6.75.  Four 1x4 panels (use fun coordinating paper).  Crossing strip is 5x1.25 tissue box 2.75x3 with half circle (or oval) cut out.  This card folds to fit in regular card envelope.

Kathy's sweet card features tatted flowers... we stamped the stems, then the flowers and added the tatted flowers on top of the stamped flowers.  It really added some nice dimension.  and of course a glitter butterfly is just the icing on the cake!

Roxxy's star spangled card is a festive way to start summer!  We used three strips of diecuts and trimmed to fit the white base. (hint, build on the white base before adhering to the red card base as it's easier to trim.) What a fun festive card!!

And on that note... Enjoy your summer!!
